HIRE-A-TEEN

 

The program is a referral service for middle and high school students between the ages of 12-17 years old. It is designed to help youth acquire job skills, work experience, and an income.

This job placement program matches youth with residents who need assistance with such things as yard work, housework, elderly help, pet sitting, and babysitting.

Communities included in this program are: Bozrah, Chesterfield, Montville, New London, Norwich, Salem, Quaker Hill, and Waterford.

Stop down between the hours of 9 am and 2 pm to fill out an application (be sure to have a parent / guardian with you), or contact  the office with your name and address to have one sent by mail. You can also print the application and guidelines with the link below.

If you are an employer wishing to hire someone from the program, you can print out the employer application below or contact our staff who can mail or fax one to you. All employers’ applications must be submitted in person between the hours of 9 am and 2 pm.
